Address Bar is a text box to enter a web address in a web browser. Web browsers allow users to click the down arrow to display the pages recently visited. Therefore, the history of the address bar shows some of the websites you have visited recently and anyone who has access to your computer, when start typing in the address bar you gets a combo with the URL of websites they visited.
When you use Internet Explorer to browse a website and do it directly by typing the URL into the address bar, the URL you have entered will be saved. Steps to erase Address bar history in Internet Explorer :-
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options".
- Open the "General" tab.
- In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
- To delete Address bar history, click "Delete history" and then click Yes.
- Click Close and then click OK.
