How do you Change the Background On Windows 7

Windows 7 has lot of changes in the UI when compared to Vista and one of the changes is the way wallpapers are controlled. Your desktop background (also called wallpaper) can be a digital picture that comes with Windows. You can also select a color for your desktop background or use a color to frame your background picture.

Note:- I do not recommend you doing this unless you are comfortable editing the Windows Settings. I will not responsible for any damage that may be caused to your PC after editing the settings by following the steps below. You proceed at your own risk or may take help from Microsoft Certified Technician at their Toll Free No. +1-877-452-9201

Steps to change background on windows 7
  • Click on the Start button

  • Then click Control Panel, after that click Appearance and Personalization, then click on Personalization, after that click on Desktop Background.
  • Click the picture or color you want for your desktop background.
  • If the picture you want to use is not in the list of desktop background pictures, click the Picture location down arrow to view other categories, or click Browse to search for the picture on your computer. When you find the picture you want, double-click it. It will become your desktop background and appear in the list of desktop backgrounds.
Under How should the picture be positioned, choose to have the picture fit the screen, tile, or be centered on the screen, and then click OK.
